The always funny and affable David Grubnic, driver of the NEW Optima Batteries Top Fuel dragster, starts this LAUNCH! show talking about what's new with Kalitta Motorsports in the 2012 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series. After Grubby discusses the team's 8,000-horsepower rails, teammate Jeff Arend, driver of the 300+ mph DHL Toyota Camry Funny Car, takes over from there with a look at his new paint schemes on both the DHL flopper and the race hauler, and he gives some great, exclusive footage of some of the things he sees inside the cockpit of his hot rod. All of this fun took place on the first day of the 2012 NHRA season at the NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, Calif. Feb. 9-12, 2012.
